About Irlam Vale A.F.C.
Irlam Vale has been at the heart of junior football community in and around Irlam since the club was formed way back in 1994. The club has come a long way since its early days and in 2010 The Football Association awarded Irlam Vale Charter Standard Development Status. As such the club is acknowledged as operating to an exacting and pre-defined set of standards in a number of key areas including coaching, administration and child protection. Irlam Vale now operates no less than 14 teams from under 7's right through to under 17's.
At the opposite end of the age range, the club is justifiably proud of its Academy School, which offers a gentle introduction to the beautiful game to kids of all abilities, aged between 4 and 6 years.
Our Mission
To provide boys and girls from 4 years of age the opportunity to learn football through fully trained FA coaches, provide facilities and equipment to have fun, provide training and play matches at the lowest cost to families. Also young players have not only increased their football skills, but increased their confidence and self-esteem, by being motivated and having fun!
The Club's outlook has been - for more than 15 years - and will be for the future, to provide football for local players' and for ensuring they get the Maximum enjoyment from the game during their time at Irlam Vale.
The important point to remember is that the Club was formed to give the players of Irlam Vale a game of football. As long as we can do this, there will always be an Irlam Vale!
Irlam Vale has introduced, 'Fair Play for Children' into its ethos with all Managers. All Club officials are vetted through the FA CRB unit, before being allowed to assist with the running of the teams or Club. The Safety and the welfare of the children, is paramount to the Club.
